“NEW PICKUP!!!” Couple weeks later “FOR SALE”.

Why do people do that? 

They talk about the shoe for weeks saying how much they want it. Then they finally get the shoes and they post it all on FB, IG, Twitter, Forums etc etc right. And next thing you know they have it up for sale. Didn’t even wear it and even if they did, still… Why have the shoe for weeks and just outta nowhere just decide to sell ‘em? 

I don’t get it sometimes. Like sure, I know money gets tight. We all have our priorities and shit happens. But my usual reaction to that is, “Uh… you just hauled ass for that shoe, drove your ass all the way to Nike Town cause you won the RSVP, and now you want to get rid of it?” I don’t get it. It’s either you love that shoe, or you don’t. And if you don’t, why did you buy it in the first place? 

I understand that hype can get in the way. You hear how limited it is. You find out people talking about it and how much the shoe looks sick and this and that. Online blogs create that sense of hype/need for the shoe and it does have some effect on all of us. Even if they say “Nah, I bought it cause I liked it.” Bullshit. If the Yeezy 1 and 2 were a Reebok shoe, nobody would buy that shit. NOBODY. 

Anyways, that’s beside the point haha.. but my point is is that if you’re going to buy a shoe, hold on to it. Again, this post is all just my opinion and what I believe in and I stand by it. Don’t get me wrong, I get rid of kicks too because shit does happen. Even if you don’t want to, you gotta handle your business. 

IDK, but for me, I went through that phase of buying every Kobe or every new Jordan. But now, I only buy stuff that I know i’ll love and wear. No need to collect every single colorway of the same shoe. If I was a doctor and made that bank, then I don’t see why not haha. But i’m not… K that is all. /endrant.
